Skyline Lodge

Located on the quiet eastern side of one of the south coast’s top holiday parks, this modern and well-appointed lodge is ideal for couples or families up to 6 people.

Skyline Lodge is nestled between many of Hampshire & Dorset's best rural and coastal areas, in the family-orientated and well-regarded Shorefield Country Park. This sophisticated and chic cabin is beautifully decorated and finished to high standards — but most importantly, has comfort in mind, with cosy furniture throughout.

This attractive and contemporary lodge is set in peaceful settings near woodlands and nature walks, yet only a short stroll to the main food & drink, entertainment, and leisure facilities on site. It comes with a private parking bay.

As you climb the steps on to your own private deck, and in through the main door, you’ll be greeted by a light-filled open-plan kitchen dining living area, decorated in warm bright tones, and with a beautiful finish throughout.

A fully-equipped and integrated kitchen and dining area awaits, with stainless steel range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, small appliances, and ample storage cupboards. The dining table has comfy seating for four people, that's perfect for any home cooked meals.

The cosy lounge area features lovely deep pile carpets, an electric fireplace, and large C-shaped sofa occupying one side of the room — with plenty of space to stretch out and relax to enjoy a TV show or film. The lounge can be opened up via french doors onto a private veranda, adding to the spacious and light feel in this open plan space. The sofa also folds out into an additional small double sofa bed for 1 or 2 people.

Towards the rear of the lodge, along the hallway, you’ll find a snug twin single room, ideal for children or teens, which features lovely soft carpets, flat screen TV, shelving, a bedside table, and a wardrobe — all beautifully finished to a high standard.

Next is a large family shower room with a modern luxury feel, comprising a toilet, wash basin, storage units, and a large walk-in shower.

At the very back of the property is a sumptuous master ensuite bedroom, complete with double bed, gorgeous wood & cream finished storage units throughout, a vanity mirror & chair, a soft carpet, flat screen TV, and lots of natural light. The ensuite WC & basin room is neatly kitted out with storage for toiletries.

Outside, the elevated veranda allows even more space to unwind, with a modern rattan outdoor furniture set, including a table and enough seating for up to seven people — ideal for enjoying the sunshine, or for alfresco dining in the warmer months.

The proximity of the lodge means it’s close by to some walking trails taking you directly into Milford-on-Sea village or beach by foot. Most of the other facilities at Shorefields Park are less than 10 minutes’ walk away.

Shorefield Country Park has a wide range of things to do, including various leisure facilities: with pools, gyms, a spa and tennis courts; food & drink options: the Tides Bar & Restaurant serves food all day, and there's a convenient shop for basic groceries; plus entertainment for all the family, with fun day activities, performances and workshops for the kids, and live evening entertainment for the grown ups.

Holiday park facility passes are included in the price of your booking! Which will give every registered guest access to leisure facilities, entertainment options, and more — all available on site! Please contact us for more information.

You’ll be right next to West Hampshire’s coastline — a short walk south from the park you’ll find Milford-on-Sea; further east on a thin shingle spit, you can reach Henry VIII’s fortress Hurst Castle; and west leads to Barton-on-Sea. The stunning New Forest National Park is only a short drive north, whilst the charming coastal Georgian town of Lymington is also on your doorstep.

Further along on the Dorset coastline are Highcliffe, Avon and Mudeford beaches, before you reach the ancient market town of Christchurch which sits at the confluence of the rivers Stour and Avon, on the shores of its own spectacular natural harbour and quay.
